Dancin' for a Cure

Vancil Performing Arts Center staff, dancers, and parents dedicated to raising funds for American Cancer Society's Relay For Life to one day find a cure for cancer, the devastating disease that has struck so many of the people we love. While some of them fought the disease and won, others lost their battle. We are fighting for those loved ones lost and Relaying in honor of them.

Our goal this dance season is to help raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society.  We will have several events throughout the dance season.

Saturday, September 24th                  Dancin for a Cure Huge Garage Sale
7:00 to 1:00 pm                               Vancil Performing Arts Center’s Parking Lot
                                                                        815 Ohio Street-Rear
To donate items, please drop them off at the parking lot of Studio B, Monday, September 19, Tuesday, September 20, Wednesday, September 21, and Thursday, September 22 from 4:30-7:30pm.   All items left will be donated to The Crossing.  For more information call the studio at 222-6857.

Event #2 successful
Sunday, October 9th                       Battle of the Bands
3:00 to 9:00 pm                               Turner Hall
Bands will compete for cash prizes.  Food, Drinks, 50/50 Drawing, raffle and more.  All proceeds will go to our Relay for Life Team.
